Well, our two major events have come and gone and both were a resounding success.
It may be thought by some that one should have been given more importance ‘The Wedding’ but equally important was the Business Group event, for without events like that our business’s do not thrive and grow, that growth then allows us to live the way we wish to and to have beautiful weddings.
Everything from the very first moment the day started went extremely well and without extortionate amounts of money being spent for that is not what its about, there is absolutely no need to be spending vast sums, the weather was beautiful, the bride and groom made a very handsome couple, the bridesmaids (sisters of the bride and groom), ushers (boyfriend of bridesmaid and brother of the groom), chauffeur (Uncle of the Bride) and photographer (a very kind gentleman and business group friend who stepped in at the last moment due to the previous photographer cancelling almost at the eleventh hour). A wonderful brother-in-law (who became the FOB for the day), a heartfelt speech from her new father in law, a most brilliant venue with excellent staff (The Nutfield Lodge, Masonic Halls Nr Redhill) and all the wonderful guests who took the day off work to be there with them on their very special day. All of this and much much more (I must mention the DJ!! he was brilliant right up to midnight with a difficult crowd who don’t dance!) helped to make the day so incredibly memorable.
So now I have two beautiful wedding memories, the first was the wedding of my beautiful eldest daughter and her wonderful husband, then my middle daughter and last but not least there is Sarah who runs the business alongside me, let us hope there is a healthy breathing space before that one occurs, we need to recoup our energies and coffers prior to that happening, also to have time to savour the wonderful warm feeling the day has brought.
To anyone reading this who has a wedding coming up, either your own or attending as a guest then we hope you have as good a day as we.
